Original equipment success

Understanding what our clients are trying to achieve is crucial when replacing original equipment. Our process enables us to quickly and effectively understand and discuss with our clients what their processes are.

Industry; Food Industry.

Outcome; Developed simple and effective methods for the client to trial "prototype" products without expensive tooling being made overseas.

Original Issues and Problems: The parts had always been sourced from the machine manufacturer; this created a number of issues. The manufacturer was not overly interested in spare parts and developing new products to assist the client. Delivery times were long and delays a constant problem.

Alternative Solution; Our first step was to understand the process the original manufacture used when making the parts. We achieved this by studying the parts. Once we had created a formula we tested it on a number of old products the client had. This confirmed our ability to manufacture the parts precisely.

Alternative skill; Using Acetal as our base material we set about developing AutoCAD drawings of proposed products and the weights required. We then achieved the desired result, and to this day we still manufacture all of the prototype and production tools.
